Do you think a story would be ok if it was rather angsty but had a potential-HEA...?

Or I may have to write something new.

I think angsty would be all right. I personally prefer HEA but I don't think the editor would find that a key element.

i love the cover of this and how cool would it be to get your work in print in something that looks as hot as that.

I may actually have to have a go at this as it's right up my alley. Although i'm always way nervous of writing anything original and submitting it as everything ive ever submitted has always either been way over the top for whomever was reading or not what they wanted.

for example the last original piece i wrote and submitted was a horror/tentacle piece for a Cthulhu anthology and aparently i gave them too much tentacles combined with sex and not enough horror.

oh well.

But this is certainly a short story subject matter i am very interested in. Kink all the way along with Hot Boys. That i know and can do. but just to come up with something.

I definitely encourage you to submit something, just try to follow the guidelines and not be too extreme. remember that there's a wide audience for published material, who may not be as into (or experienced with) kinky stories as you are. Write for a relatively new reader.
